We have been around since 2011.
We work in Leipzig.
We are called "Konzeptwerk Neue Ökonomie".
A concept is an idea of how something can work.
“Economy” is the difficult word for economy.
We promote ideas for a fair economy.
We want everyone to have a good life.
Everyone should have the same rights.
Nature should be protected.
This has to do with the economy.
Many people say: The economy must grow!
This means we need to produce and sell more things.
Then we'll earn more money and everyone will be better off.
We say: That’s not true.
The economy can ensure that everyone has enough to live on.
But that is not the case right now.
Few people are very rich, but many people are poor.
There are poor people in Germany and in Europe.
However, most poor people live in Asia, Africa and South America.
Things that we need in Germany and Europe are often produced there.
For example, clothes or equipment.
There are problems with this.
Many people often receive very little money for their work.
We find this unfair.
Many people are not allowed to have a say.
We find this unfair.
All over the world, the environment is being destroyed so that things can be manufactured.
The environment is particularly badly destroyed where poor people live.
We think that is bad and unfair.
We say: There is another way!
We want all people to be treated fairly.
We want the environment to be protected.
Many other people want that too.
This is a difficult task.
Most people are very used to the way things are.
But many people are finding different solutions to make things fairer.
But often people don’t know each other.
We help people find themselves.
Then they can talk about the solutions.
And they can help each other.
