The concept factory has been the location of the since 2025. Academy for Children's and Youth Parliaments in Saxony. Through our academy, we support young people in getting involved in local politics. We encourage them to better understand society and politics, to actively participate in debates, and to help shape them.

Target Group
Our program is aimed at all young people involved in elected participation structures, such as youth parliaments, as well as those interested in local political engagement. This includes young people who jointly implement projects in their community and participate in local political processes such as city council meetings. We also offer qualification, continuing education, and networking opportunities for professionals in administration and youth work who support these young people.
Possible content
Democratic participation:
- How do we organize ourselves as a group? How do we make decisions? e.g., workshop How-to grassroots democracy
- How do I organize events such as a film evening or a networking meeting?
Anti-discrimination & solidarity:
- Who can join us? Who can't, and why? How can our group be more inclusive and accommodate diverse perspectives? For example, awareness training for events
Crises & Utopias:
- Future for All – Social and ecological crises and what we can do about them
- Understanding and shaping politics and the economy
Skills for Action
- Communication skills: rhetoric, moderation, conflict resolution
- Media use: What is sustainable and healthy use of technology? How can I navigate the internet independently? Which tools can we use and how?
- Campaign planning and public relations: How do we plan and present our projects?
Teambuilding
- Get to know each other better during a hike, a city rally, or a murder mystery dinner!
