What are the pressing issues for feminist initiatives in rural Saxony? What do feminist and trade union activists in Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, and Brandenburg need to advocate for gender equality in the workplace, schools, or associations? How can we build strong queer-feminist alliances that fight for the revaluation of care work?
These questions and more will be addressed at the Educational weekend “For concern! Strengthening queer feminist movements” from 07. – 09.08.26 in Torgau Let's go. We're planning a summery weekend full of workshops, networking, exchange, and time together.
The queer feminist weekend aims to strengthen movements, connect interested and active individuals, and provide a space for exchange: What formats and structures help queer feminist and trade union activists? What is currently lacking? How can we strengthen each other so that care becomes central to the economy?
In addition to the weekend, there are networking and get-to-know-you meetings to which we invite organizations and individuals to contribute their perspectives, skills and ideas to the planning of the weekend.
