In the first episode of the third season of "Thank You for Nothing," we delve into the topic of feminist organizing in East Germany. We begin with a conversation with two people active in Lips & Bats in Torgau. What is the focus of this queer-feminist collective? How do the activists defend themselves against everyday discriminatory situations—especially in a right-wing dominated environment? And how does the queer-feminist group recruit new members? These are all questions we discuss with Clara and Sigi from Lips & Bats.
In the vision, Kübra and Annenka from the Mothers' Network East in Leipzig present their feminist work.
A warm invitation to the second networking meeting for the queer-feminist educational weekend, which will take place from August 07th to 09th in Torgau. Are you active in promoting the value of care work or equality? Are you curious and want to get involved? Join us for the next networking meeting on Wednesday, May 20.05th, from 18-20.00 pm in Torgau (location to be announced – online participation also possible). Follow us for more information!
