#10 Ecofeminist economic critique and webs of abundances

In motion for care.

Hand with yellow cleaning glove crushes a bouquet of flowersPart of the project: Thanks for nothing

With Abundia Alvarado, Amaia Pérez Orozco and Lina Hansen.

Chris traveled extensively this summer and fall and met fascinating people at various events. In this episode, Abundia Alvarado, Amaia Pérez Orozco, and Lina Hansen talk about their struggles and concepts for care in motion. You'll hear about the activist experiences of the "Stop Cop City" initiative around the Wee'Lau'nee Forest in Atlanta and about the feminist strike in Spain. You'll also learn about ecofeminist analysis, rebellious care, and land back. Learn about concepts that people are using today to move toward care.

The news also covers Tarek Shukrallah's anthology "Not the First," which compiles the history of queer people of color movements in Germany. And it's about the daycare strike in Berlin, where employees and a parents' initiative fought together for a long time with union support. This time, the vision section features excerpts from the "Kitchen Council Communist Manifesto," which takes the kitchen as a starting point for collective liberation.
