Paths to a good (digital) life for all

Part of the project: digitally moved

Socio-ecological perspectives on digital technology in mobility, logistics and communication

The brochure "Paths to a Good (Digital) Life for All" provides initial answers to the question of how digital processes in the areas of mobility, logistics, and communication can be designed in a democratic, social, and ecological way. The brochure develops a compass that helps redesign digital technology to counteract the exploitation of people and nature.

Key questions for this compass include: How could digital platforms for sustainable mobility be built beyond the capitalist pressures to be always mobile and accessible? What digital organizational systems exist for future-proof logistics that do not require ever-increasing flexibility? And which new social media can free themselves from the arbitrariness of algorithms and be used and co-designed by everyone in a self-determined manner?
