Fair distribution of housing

social and ecological socialization

Part of the project: Building blocks for climate justice

The dossier discusses not only the social but also the ecological benefits of socializing housing.

Housing in Germany is responsible for about 31% of national CO2 emissions and is very unevenly distributed. If we want to reduce per capita living space for climate protection reasons, this can only be achieved through social action. And for this, we need a better, needs-based distribution of housing.
